Apparently I can. I was looking out my kitchen window this morning while contemplating what to do for breakfast when I saw these birds carrying on bad. Ok maybe they weren't doing the nasty but that's a bit close to be normal company seeing the power line they were sitting on was about 100 feet long and they were the only two birds on it. Maybe a bird expert can come in a tell me why the other one didn't find his own spot on the line.
This sparked some memories of my adventures in sharing a bed with girls. One such adventure was with Original, I used to walk past her apartment on my way to/from the car park and probably after 4 short conversations she asked me to stay with her one night. She was hot, I was single, why not? We did exactly as I agreed to, I slept on my side of her bed and she stayed on her side(she had a big bed) then I woke up and went about my business back at my place in the morning. Over the next couple of days as she got to know me better she progressively inched her way over until she was sleeping with her head on my chest. Needless to say the following week, by the time I dozed off she was completely on me, not touching the bed, like those two birds in the picture above.
Now I wasn't complaining as I said she was hot, one of those girls that made my toes curl and my big 6"2' frame could manage her slim form but I remember looking over at all the empty space on her bed and foolishly wondering whats wrong with it, the bed must be more comfortable than me. I have since asked another offender for a reason of the invasion of personal space and the explanation given was that she felt safe when she was touching me. Of course they would kick up a storm when I roll over on my side and my back is facing them in efforts to get comfortable. Really now lets not be obsessive compulsive but sometimes personal space can be good.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! I prefer to sleep alone altogether, much less stress.
Hol' on?! Yuh mean to say when she asked you to stay over she meant to just sleep?! A wah dih... ?!
lol fiyah.. I don't know what her original intentions were but thats what we did at first, the debauchery ensued not long after :)
I think at first you want the man to be holding you all night...then your neck starts to hurt, and if the beds big enough, you wish he would just stay on his side, and when morning hits, he would come over and say "hi"
So all you did was 'sleep' with the hottie? That's some way to date...
the birds are doing it
you happened upon something very rarely seen by humans.
I'm with Cranky Putz on this one.
Ummm, so lemme get this straight. You're in bed with a hot chick (who INVITED you to spend the night after 4 short conversations) and you're thinking about personal space.
I don't even know what to say. LOL. Seriously, I'm speechless.
But lemme tell you, if I were invited into the bed of a guy I found hot, I would be thinking about mounting him like a horse in Caymanas Park instead of personal space.
This is the second post today about refusing advances and both posts were made by men....what the heck goin on around here???
Tsk tsk. I highly doubt EACH one of you are virgins, but I am suprised by the comments. She wanted penis. You did the good boy thing by not touching her on day 1;after that night she realised that you don't 'run down woman' or you're not really super agressive. Females like sto give in to a guy who won't pressure them for sex the 1st time. In other words, they want to give it up to someone, they just want to pick that someone. That cuddling night was because she wanted you to bone her. Full stop.
@crankyputz: skipping the dating phase is the best way to do it, you get right to the good stuff and its light on the pocket :p
@simple enigma: lol that never did cross my mind.. as far as I was concerned at that time she was my neighbour and that kind of mess could only lead to drama, her having a boyfriend didnt encourage anything at all either.
As I predicted there were some awkward moments after we moved back to being just platonic friends as I had to pass her apt every time I came to/from the car park.
@Jim: The reverse psychology on girls is as smooth as clockwork.. of course I dont do it intentially but everytime I initially ignore the girl they come back with a vengeance while the other people I see actually putting out good effort fall to the sidelines. Maybe if I act interested they will blow me off :p
hehe, entertaining post. Listen if a man I'm attracted to is sleeping in my bed, he'd better like to 'spoon' - no turning his back and sleeping over 'his' side (unless I need some space).
What are you complaining about anyway, dya know how many men would love to have your personal space (or lack of) problem?
I need to find myself some neighbors like yours! lol!
lol stunner.. for a minute there I thought you were talking about the birds. :p
